A visit to my father, three hours away, includes driving through Northern Ohio's farmland. "I have to paint this farm", is the thought I have every time I passed it. Every structure is bright red, except for the house - which is white with a bright red roof. This fall, I tracked down the owner and got his permission to paint it. I left home about an hour before sunrise so I could catch it at early light on a beautiful fall morning.
