Imagine my surprise when I hiked in the Blind Rapids on a early foggy morning to find the water filled with salmon fishermen! The fog hid most of the mountains so I began to capture the fishermen and the water reflections, hoping that the fog might lift a bit. As the tide ran out, the salmon were exposed in the shallow rivers as they made their way into the deeper pond. I stopped painting to take pictures. Then the eagles - about 40 of them - arrived to fight over the salmon parts left by the fishermen - more photos. Then a mama bear and her 3 cubs arrived for their breakfast of 3 salmon - more photos. Fourty five minutes later, when I went pack to my painting, I finally noticed that the sun was out and my early morning foggy view was long gone!
