Digging for Oysters on Long Creek

PEI seems to have two major industries - fishing and growing potatoes. Since I've been painting a lot of seaside and harbor scenes, I thought it might be interesting to paint a field of potatoes - orange clay and dark green leaves. Imagine my delight when I found a farm running down to the shore and John, the oyster fisherman, positioned perfectly for the painting!
