Local artist, Diana Zasadny, took me to one of the places she has wanted to paint. I could see why as we stood on a bluff overlooking the convergence of 2 rivers among the rolling hills of the prairie. Diana said that since the trail down to the river is difficult to hike, this area has become a great resource for wildlife. It was a fun morning painting, after I moved away from the anthill.
