Because it was pretty foggy, I and artist Faith Revell decided to head to the Old town of Valdez early in the morning - Faith thought we could find something to paint there. When we arrived, there was a navy and brilliant yellow boat that "shouted out" brilliant color compared to everything else in the harbor. We both decided to paint it.
