Hearing lions roar nearby, crossing flooded streams in safari jeeps, and painting Africa’s dusty, smoky skies, gave a new definition to the term plein air “field study”.
In addition to leading two Habitat for Humanity Global Village teams, I was thrilled to enjoy a 10-day Okavango Delta safari in Botswana, and to drive an 11-day tour along South Africa’s Garden Route.
